Hi,
Could yougive some advice please. I believe my 3xgrandfather Joseph Hood died c1836 aged 56 in Fullards End?? Coseley. He I believe left a widow Sarah (nee Bagley Morgan). Do wills for this period exist and if so how would I go about trying to find if he possibly left one.
Thanks
John

Hi John
If
your ancestor left a will it could be at Lichfield Record Office.
http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/leisure/archives/LichfieldRecordOffice/
If you can't get there yourself I think they will do a search for you, but you have to pay for it.
Best wishes
Judy
