James Grayley - Ann Taylor marriage-probably Ireland.

How can I ask for `Ireland` help as I do not have a specific county?
1861 census: James (b.c.1830) and Ann (b.c.1832) Grayley (Grealy) were living in Wallsend, Northumberland.
Son Hugh b.c.1856 was given as born in Newcastle upon Tyne. A search in FreeBMD. Find Past and Newcastle registrar offices was negative.
I think he might have been born in Ireland too.
My direct line connection James was born Newcastle 4.5.1857.
Can anyone suggest a way I can trace this marriage please? It would have been between 1848 (Ann aged 16) and c.1857 when Hugh was born.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
frek.

do you have any idea what religion James and Ann were ?
Full civil registration started in 1864, with non-Catholic marriages registered between 1845 and 1863. There are a few Ann Taylor marriage references around the right timeframe, but none that I can see for a James Grayley or Grealy
Link to
The Irish Civil index
on Familysearch.
church records will be needed to find earlier records would which would require knowing which parish they were married in.

Great news!. I have just obtained the marriage cert for James and Charlotte Rothwell. I have James's birth cert too - I expect you have both?
The children I have are 1901 - Annie, Richard (direct line) Charlotte and in 1911Charles Alice and John.
I would be interested in the descendant line if you would like to share it. I bought an old map of Wallsend yesterday to see where the family lived c.1900's.
I cannot get any information about the Irish line.
At present I am tracing the Rothwell line and I am back to John b.c.1834 in Lancs and his wife Ann J born in Cumberland.
If you have not got this infromation let me know and I will forward it.
Thanks for the contact .
