Providence Rhode Island Death

Trying to find the death of Paul Lowe born 1781 Birmingham Warwickshire England. Paul had a son Thomas Henry Lowe who lived in Providence Rhode Island. There is a Paul Lowe Brass Founder who appears on a Philadelphia passenger list for 'The City of Glasgow' leaving Liverpool 18/6/1852 . destination Rhode Island,  I think the age is recorded incorrectly he was 68 not 58 as stated. 
There is no registration for the death of Paul Lowe in the U.K. so I am assuming he died in the USA, can anyone help me find his death or burial in the USA or tell me how I can trace his burial.

In the USA there is no comprehensive BMD.  Instead births, marriages, and deaths are recorded according to state or county regulations, sometimes posted online in an index.  (And not all states/counties have the same rules or dates of mandatory recording). 

To find deaths in other states, I do an internet search for "death index" and the name of the state where I think the death occurred.

I took a quick look at a Rhode Island death database that I have access to and there was a death for Thomas H Lowe who died 12 Jun 1888 at the age of 76. There are two kin listed but it doesn't say what their relationship was to the deceased. For Thomas, the two kin are Paul Lowe and Phoebe Lowe.  The same database has an entry for Paul Low who died 25 Oct 1852 at the age of 73. The two kin listed were Joseph Low and Wm Springer. There were a number of Low(e) deaths that had Wm Springer listed as kin including a death for a Henry Lowe who died 20 Dec 1868 at the age of 21 days whose kin was listed as Thomas Lowe along with Wm Springer. I have no idea how to obtain actual copies of these entries or where in Rhode Island the deaths occurred.

Wonder if there are any gravestones for most of the Lowe family in Rhode Island. Found Thomas H. Lowe (c1811-12 June 1888) buried Grace Church Cemetery, Providence. Also Thomas Henry Lowe (1869-9 Feb.1888) buried Swan Point Cemetery. Nothing for Paul Lowe but there are listings for Phebe Low  although the dates may not be for the correct person.

 Many thanks for the information, the Thomas Henry who died  9/2/1888 and was buried at Swan Point was the son of Paul and Pheobe (Phebe) Lowe. Pheobe died in Birmingham Warwickshire 28/2/1849 before Paul left England. It's not certain when Thomas Henry Lowe went to America it must have been between the birth of his son Thomas Henry Lowe in 1845 and the death of his first wife Esther at Providence Rhode Island  in 1861. I see there are burials for Thomas, Esther and his second wife Eleanor at Grace Church Cemetary. Also son Edwin and his wife Isabell Eleanor nee Marshall and their son Thomas H all buried at Swan Point cemetary. Edwin Lowe Married  Isabell Eleanor Marshall who was his step sister and daughter of Eleanor Marshall  the second wife of Thomas Henry Lowe.
Again Many thanks for  all your help although I still don't know where Paul Lowe died at least I know where to look.
