« on: Thursday 24 December 09 21:50 GMT (UK) »
Hi, Looking for 1911 address of Thomas (or Catherine) Anderson, probably in Everton. They were at Friar St in 1901 and I want to find them in 1911 census.
thanks and Merry Christmas.

You can search the 1911 index for free at http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/tnaform.aspx using the personal details you have of them from the 1901 census - birthyear/birthplace etc and also using the names of any children who may still have been with them in 1911

I notice they had 3 children in 1901 who were young enough to have still been at home in 1911

The 1911 index shows Katherine b 1865 and Thomas b 1855 living in West Derby and there is also a Gerty Anderson aged 18 and a Kathleen aged 11 which ties in with the 1901

Ellen could be Nellie b 1901 and there is a Mary aged 20 and a TOMAS E aged 23

Thanks so much. It was Clarendon Road and from this I found Thomas worked in an oilcake mill in Liverpool and was able to confirm a family story that he was killed in an explosion later in 1911, cue fascinating newspaper reports. What a great family history Christmas present! ;)
