Shane is spot on with the location of the graveyard. The monument is the best way to locate the graveyard which although only 20-30 feet up the lane can't be noticed from the road, so do look at his link so you know what you are looking for. The sign from the r744 at Castleellis crossroads is for Blackwater, its about half a mile down that road opposite a whitewashed farmhouse. The graveyard is always accessible by foot and is well kept but many of the stones are hard to read, its smaller than Oulart Old Graveyard and it won't take too long to look at all the Gravestones. If you go in the other direction from the R744 it will bring you to Ballaghkeen village, via Slievenagrane townland, there is a very small old graveyard in the village opposite the Church it also is a possible burrial place for people living in Slievenagrane in the 1800's.
Good luck

Shirlbur, what information did you have on Matthew and Frances in Australia? I am assuming this is how you tie in, and you are perhaps a direct descendant of that couple?
Did you find the name of his first wife? Did you find the father of Frances? Do you know what state they lived in? Do you have their death certificates?
Katharine.

Katherine75,  My husband is the grandson of Matthew Byrne and Fanny Jordan.  Fanny's father is Michael, but that's all I know about her family.  I haven't confirmed Matthew's first wife's name yet.  Yes, I have Matthew and Fanny's death certificates at home (I'm currently in Ireland).  Are you connected to this family?

Thanks for all the help.  Found the Castle-Ellis graveyard today, and amazingly there were many very old headstones that were still readable.  Found quite a few with BYRNE on them and have photos, because I haven't got a link to the family yet.

Also visited the cemetery at Ballaghkeen last week, and found a few BYRNE headstones.

Visited a local lady in Oulart today, and I have some other info which may help.  I have a lot to work on now

Katherine75, I meant to say that my husband is the great-grandson of Matthew and Fanny.  They had a child Patrick, and he is my husband's grandfather.

Hi Shirlbur. No, not related at all. Just wasn't sure, but was going to say that their Australian death certificates 'should' hold the information that you were after, PROVIDING the informant knew and gave the information.
But obviously that was no the case for you.
Did any of the children from the first wife come out to Australia? If so, I presume you have their death certificates as they should give the mother/first wife.
Katharine.
