I don't understand your logic (how can you tell he hadn't ever been in the Wrexham before, where was the Brymbo 1901 chap on earlier censuses) but up to you to decide ...   

I personally wouldn't be overly surprised if Edmund Murray (birth), Edmund Lawton (1881), Edward Murrey (1891) and Edward Murray 1901 in Brymbo turned out to be one and the same person.

Hi Tati.  Sorry I had not found that entry for Edward Lawton before, maybe because I didn't think to look under the name Lawton.  It is well worth some serious investigation.  I know where he was living as I come from the area myself so I will do some digging locally.
