[Thanks Poll for the comment re colors.  ]Good to hear because I have 'tritanopia', i.e. unable to distinguish colors in the blue / green spectrum.  I rely on assistance from my dear wife Norma and by remembering position of correct colors for vegetation, sky and water on the various color pallets; a bit challenging but a lot of fun really.

Hi all,

What fantastic restores. I don't know how you guys do it lol.

Please accept my thanks again...I think this will be my gt auntie's Christmas present.

I still cannot work out if this man on the right is my gt gt grandfather...hmm I will have to try and get hold of some of the brothers' pics from later life.

Here is one I have of the brothers. Looking at it I can see the the man holding the rhubarb in the pic posted above (Arthur) is the man sitting down on the left of this pic...

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,353629.0.html

My gt gt grandfather is the man standing up to he right, with the South Africa medal. Do you all think he is the second man in the pic with Arthur on the plantation????

Any thoughts appreciated as always, thanks all for your contributions in this season of Goodwill!
