1841 and 1851 Census, Elizabeth Morris, Llansilin
« on: Sunday 13 March 05 04:25 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for Elizabeth Morris in the 1841 and 1851 census - Llansilin.

She would have been about 8/9 in the 1841 census and living in Llansilin with her parents, Edward and Elizabeth Morris.

She would have been about 18/19 in the 1851 census and still living in Llansilin.

Thank-you very much in advance for any help you can provide.    Carol

I don't suppose you know the sub district of Llansilin??

I can search for the following (this is a cut and paste, I know some are a bit garbled!!):

Bodlith
Estynallan
Llansilir
Lledrode
Llo??an
Moelfre
Priddbwll
Isfoel Rhiwlas
Uchfoel Rhiwlas
Sychart

but the rest are not in Denbighshire...

Hi Lee - -   They lived in the town (village) of Llansilin, proper.   So most likely the one sub-district that you've cut and pasted into your message as "Llansilir" is meant to be "Llansilin".   Thats the one I would look for Elizabeth Morris.    Thank-you so very much,    Carol
