Annie Elizabeth Stephenson was born out of wedlock in 1884 Brompton, Scarborough. Mother was Alice Hannah Stephenson 1868 (Brompton) -1963.
Alice was also born out of wedlock to Ann Stephenson who later married James Boyes.
Annie was raised in Scarborough by her grandmother Ann (Stephenson) Boyes but listed on census info as a niece.
Annie's mother Alice Hannah Stephenson was my great grandmother, and later married John Lishman. They had 2 sons which Annie may never have known about.
I am looking for any information of Annie Elizabeth Stephenson available after the 1901 census.

Hi Jane
I have found a Annie Elizabeth Stephenson living at 137 Colombus Ravine, Scarborough in 1911 with her "Aunt", Annie Boyes in 1911.

Annie (Aunt) was born in 1851 in Brompton and by 1911 was a widow. There is a James Boyes who died in 1908 in Scarborough at the age of 61, so possibly the correct person as it looks like he was around in 1901.

Yes this is her. I was hoping to find out whether she had married or had children as they would have been cousins of my mother, but it appears from what you have told me that she stayed with Annie Boyes, who was really her grandmother, until at least 1911.
Always hoping to find a living relative !

This is the nearest death in age that comes up on Freebmd.
The Cert might be worth purchasing to see who the informant is. Annie Stephenson may have married later in life.
Have a search around on Freebmd under Annie/Anne +/- Elizabeth Stephenson and see what you can come up with. There are a few possibilities for Mariage and Death.
