Over the years my grandparents often spoke of a BEAMISH family who lived in
the Poplar area of London.
Would add that many many Irish families starting around the 1850's made their
way from Ireland to the East End of London-----in order to find work in the local
docks.
Then some time after WW2 ended the County of Poplar was changed to the County of Tower Hamlets.
And after WW2 ended the population of the East End of London started to move out and away from their specific area of the East End of London, the majority opted to
make the move to Essex---and many opted to Emigrate.
