If any person lives near Wrenbury Church could you please have a look at the photo of VINCENT JONES which is situated underneath the war memorial window. It is the details about him that I am after. On the photo [which is attached] it looks like he was KiA 1st November. He appears not to be listed with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. the other one is FRANK PARKER, I have him in the navy, may be incorrect

He is on the CWGC under Leonard Vincent Jones. Mark Potts & Tony Marks record him on p184 of "Dear Mrs Jones: The Next Generation" and show a full size version of that photo.

He was KIA 9 July 1944 - what you may have read as "November" is "Normandy".

Thanks for the reply.  I have some old family photos of Leonard Vincents including his grave stone. 
I'm interested to know what the notes are to the left of the photo in Wrenbury Church.  Would you know what it is or what it says?

Don't know - the photo in the Potts book is just the photo on the right hand side of the frame in the Church. I'd wildly guess the left-hand bit might be a newspaper, though since I don't see any headings or columns, I don't know. Maybe it's the casualty report from a newspaper listing his death? Just a wild guess - someone would need to go there - Wrenbury church isn't far from the railway station.
