1900/1910 NY LOOKUP Please
« on: Monday 07 December 09 22:57 GMT (UK) »
Looking for Thomas and Bridget McHugh in NYC in 1900 and perhaps in 1910. Also Kate and Michael Dempsey who would've been on the 1910.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 1900 Census is available for free here:  http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start

Any information that you have about them (ages, immigration dates, occupations, etc.) would be helpful.

Thomas and Bridget(Monaghan) married in England in 1884 and emigrated, I presume, shortly after.

Kate Dempsey, Bridget's neice, arrived in 1900 aged 22 and Michael Dempsey, Bridget's nephew, arrived in 1907 aged 22.

What I need is Bridget's place of birth. Ireland somewhere!!

Michael and Kate were both born in England.

Again thanks.

Thanks Pauline, that looks really good.

Does the last one (Powell) not give place of birth?
