Deering's In Ireland
« on: Thursday 03 December 09 21:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi Everyone:
I am starting my first post, with the interest of the surname DEERING who were in Ireland in the 1800's.  Four of these DEERING's came to Ontario Canada some time in the 1830's to 1850's, as some were found early and some came later.

The Four who came were Sarah Deering (m.John CROSS in Clones, Magaeramore, Monaghan, Ireland in 1829), Edward Gilbert Deering (m. Elizabeth Morrison (a Cousin?) in Clones, Monaghan, Ireland abt 1835), Robert Deering (m. Elizabeth Wilson abt 1840) and Ann Deering(m. Richard McCracken in Clones, Monaghan, Ireland in 1830).
All were married and had children, some who were also married when the came to Canada and married here when they got here.  Some of the surnames were Walker's Wilson's Carr's Wright's

The DEERING name was changed to my spelling of my last name today to DEARING when the family came to Canada.

I'm looking to find anyone who can help me find who they're parents were and where exactly they came from.  And if there are any other family to them in Ireland then and today?
Thanks,
Ann Dearing
