Glad I was able to help. I forgot to say that the house in the background was where Arch was born and where he lived with Lil until he died. Just before Arch retired he was a road sweeper in Virginia Water. He made all his own besom brooms and everyone new him.
The only information I have on Lil and her family is from the 1911 Census where her father was listed as a cow man in Chertsey. I went to grammar school in Chertsey but I don't suppose the farm is still in existence. I do hope you can find a photo of Lil (even if it's from when she was young) I don't really remember much about either of them, although we lived very close to them I don't remember visiting them much when I was young, when I married I moved away from Virginia Water so, again, I didn't see anything of them. So far I've managed to trace dad's side of the Wyatt family back to Thomas Wyatt who died in 1603, his son William was born 1572 in Charlton upon Otmoor, Oxfordshire. Finding the past history has been relatively easy, it's the later stuff that's hard to come by. Hope to hear from you soon.
