Nancy Morley and William F Robinson

I am looking for help with finding the marriage of Nancy Morley and William Featherstonhaugh Robinson. William was born 1911 and died 1969 in Lanchester. William's parents were Mary Maria Featherstonhaugh and Benjamin Robinson.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I think you may find she was Susannah Morley - perhaps known as Nancy

William F Robinson (Ancestry have him as William E but GRO index is William F)

Neither did I - usually Ann, Agnes, Hannah etc are corrupted to Nancy but it was probably a family nickname

Alison noticed your name interests in Durham include Sisson and Robinson, another fact my Grandfather was called William Robinson Featherstone.

How interesting. There must be a connection, as most of my family were Featherstonhaugh's, I believe the 'haugh' part of the name was dropped, however, haven't found a Featherstone connection.
Who were your grandfather's parents?
