Hi

Could anyone help with a Whitby burial for Francis (b 1816) and Elizabeth STEPHENSON (b 1820) - they vanish off the radar between the 1851 and 1861 census

Have you discounted the 1861 entry RG9 Piece 3648 Folio 49 Page 13?  Ages and location fit the profile you have given and name is correctly spelt

there are 3 elizabeth stephenson deaths in whitby between those years
