northern irish soldiers in WW1

im trying to trace my grandfather.....   i only know that he was discharged through injury to his foot ( i think)... his name was James Mullin born in Omagh around 1883. I have no idea when he joined or any other clues, I did find one James Mullin in the Inniskilling Fusiliers.... any help please ?

hello there, my granny was mullan before she married my grandfather, i think she had a brother called james , her father was james , he was a stone mason,they lived in the tattykeel area of omagh near Clanabogan. I dont have much info on them at the minute as i,ve just started my family tree on that side. i have an aunt that has a great memory (shes 92). i will ask her the names of my grandmothers siblings. have you any other information on him???

Hi...  check the spelling ! Cos this is Mullin. He had 2 brothers John and Frank and 3 sisters Mary, Susan and Rose. The 1901 census has them at John st Omagh. Im interested in anything that can be added, but Im specifically looking to find him in the Army record. Thanks and good luck.

Ive a feeling that you and I are related!

My great grandmother was Agnes Mc Enhill, sister of Hugh, Sarah and James and from Tattykeel (Rodgers) There was another sibling but I dont know his or her name.  I have just started work on the family tree and would be keen to get more information.  Can you help?

Hugh McEnhill and Mary(Stars), third wife, had James, Susan, Hugh, Jeannie and Agnes. My grandfather, Edward was Hugh's son from his second marriage to Jane Gormley. Edward had a sister, Ellen.Hugh had four daughters from his first marriage to Ellen McBride, Sarah Ann, Margaret, Mary and Susan.

Jeannie and Margaret went to live in America. Edward and Sarah lived in Scotland.

We have a lot of information about the McEnhills. Anything particular you would like to know?

Am I right in saying that James Mc Enhill (Grandfather of Sarah) was brother of Agnes, who married Peter Mc Cullagh?

Agnes was my great grand mother and I have a photo of her and her husband Peter.  My grandmother is Mary Logue and she is 99 years old and lives between Castlederg and Drumquin

It would seem that James and Agnes's father, Hugh Mc Enhill was married 3 times, therefore it gets a bit complicated.  There is such a big connection of relatives. 

I work in Omagh, Sarah, therefore would be able to meet up any time to share our information.  I am only in the early stages of gathering the information so any help would be appreciated.  My mum has been in contact with P. Montaque and I understand his mother and an elderly aunt has information and we are hoping to meet up soon.

Yes that's correct.......James and Agnes were brother and sister. I have pictures of Agnes and Peter and Mary Logue too. Vince has shared them with me. I have some very old pictures too, and would love to put names to the faces! Great grandfather Hugh and Mary (Stars) are in some.

I have copies of Hugh's first and third marriages, but not yet a copy of the second one which is relevant to me. I am happy to share any info with you.
