World War One Record of Charles Leeson
« on: Friday 27 November 09 10:19 GMT (UK) »
Hello All
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me find the WW1 record of Charles James Leeson, from Northampton. I know that he married in Middlesborough in 1918, so perhaps he was based somewhere near there?!? I'm not 100% sure that he DID fight in the war, but I'd still like to find out definitely!
Thanks :D

Do you have the marriage certificate? If not, getting that would be a starter as his occupation would say 'soldier', and may even give his regiment. It may also give an address, so you can then look at the electoral roll as soldier's full details were often recorded in 1918/19.
