Killingbeck Hospital death 1918 - burial?

I have George Hamilton Hands B 1882 Oxfordshire who died of Tench Fever in Killingbeck Military Hospital Leeds on 1 Feb 1918. It is suspected that he was buried locally and I wonder if any one may know where that burial may have taken place? I have looked on NBI Edt 2 but no entry, perhaps PR's?
Any help would be so welcome

  I've just looked at the Leeds Burials Index and can find no record of a George Hamilton Hands. Sorry.

I checked ww1 medal index cards for similar names(his date of birth means military service is likely in 14-18 war) and that youd entered a worcester connection came up with this guy.
HOWEVER  hes not on CWGC or SDGW  as you would expect of a serving soldier if died in Service( was it Trench Fever??)
 If he had been discharged from military then he wouldnt have been.

Back to the detective work   May need a National Burials Index lookup for 1918 thats only way i traced someone in my research.

There is a tree on Ancestry to a George Hamilton Hands who was born Banbury 1881 and died in hospital in CHILE Feb 1918 could this be your man? paerents Steven and Anna are listed?

I can't find him either so your post is reassuring. I've looked in all the obvious and lots of nothing.
No SDWG, CWGC, NBI, NA, etc, etc but am still searching.
The family member is his great grand niece and she has the obituary and some notes from her Mum. He is commemorated on a memorial in Pershore. You see if he was serving then he may qualify as Non Comm for a CWGC head stone -if we can find the grave?
I am in touch with the owner of that tree on Ancestry (in Canada) he left in Blank and Ancestry defaulted to a country of North / South America as it some times will if those fields are left empty - but I s'pect you knew that, sorry to rattle on chap. He did not know it said this guy died in Chile and was wrong and is correcting that!!

Nigel, if you phone Lawnswood Cemetery at Leeds they will be able to tell you if he was buried in the area.  The hold ALL records for Burials and Cremations.
When you enquire about the Burial also get them to check Cremations - they won't check Cremations unless asked (as a rule).

Thanks for the info. I have just called them and a very pleasant chap said he could not help if I don't know the cemetery as they are not on a PC and as there are so many it would take too much time as it is a manual search.
