Looks like folks I may not make it up to Auckland until September or October 2010 as my mother is on the waiting list to have an operation and will need help to do things for at least 3 months afterwards.

I have just found this out tonight.

Would still like to meet you all for a social gathering if that is ok with the rest of you

Hi Everyone,

I now have flights to Auckland return to Christchurch sorted out.

Coming up late on 22 March 2010 and back on 29 March 2010

Still to sort out where I will stay.  The cheapest backpackers in Central Auckland is about 250 bucks for the week

I can confirm I have some where to stay for my time up in Auckland at a place in Anzac Ave, Auckland Central

I am up between 22 March and go back 29 March to Christchurch

nothing further has been done, I am still keen but waiting on sggestions for a venue.  I was at Archives the other day and they have a meeting room that we may be able to use I am happy to pursue along those lines if it suits.

Now we have someone commited to a date we can hopefully move along, I can pick up and drop of in Auckland for those locals who may want a ride.

That sounds good Alan, I will be spending one day at Archives as I have a whole pile of probates to go through. Just a pity nowhere to store luggage.

Keep coming up with ideas and then maybe we can make a list and see what we all think
