can someone please help me translate this i found a old photo with my grandfather on at school but it is in welsh it was taken in 1911 and it says YN y llun uchod  gwelir Ysgol(i think that school ) Rhiwlas  tua 1911 Derbynlwyd gan mr g gwilliam (i know thats the teachers name) Croesoswallt

Strictly speaking " derbyniwyd gan" would translate as " received by", but in this context it probably means "received from".

Sorry - missed out "tua 1911". This means "approximately 1911"
