Just letting you know I am not lost in the wilds of Rochdale Cemetery!
Dad & I have done a lot of Rochdale, but I think we may have to admit defeat on one or two of them cos despite going up & down a small plot grave by grave we just CANT locate the graves at all!

LOL cant remember if you asked me for Heywood too - but I have also done some there if so!

I have actually found several interesting gravestones I will be posting in the local boards that may be of interest to people with local connections.

I am going to collate all my photos & dads tomorrow (hopefully) so I will get them to you asap.

Hi Mo,

The problem at Rochdale is that the map bears little resemblance to the actual plots!

I was chatting to a man the other day who lives locally & walks his dog thru the cemetery daily, he was asking what I was doing and as usual I explained, he asked who I was looking for so I showed him the list, and he told me the grave was way over the other side of the plot to where I was - even tho the grave number I was beside made it look like it was close by!
