OK, do you need any more around Chadderton or Royton still?

ohhhhhh question - do you have access to WW1 South Lancs records? I THINK I found one of my dads extended family but I am not 100% certain.

Gaille

Gallie, you have already done Chadderton for me  :)  I dont have anything for Royton unless it also goes by another name.

With relation to WW1 service records, if it is on Ancestry or national Archives, I can get a copy, and also have teh South lancs Regimental History so fire away and I will see what I can find.

Heather,
My name is Marguerette Joyce Edlin. In March 2007 you wrote to my brother Michael Peter saying you had some information about our grandfather Edward Fredrick Holberton Edlin and great grandfather Edward Colsil Edlin. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to share this information with me. I live in China and am in the process of writing my memoirs and I want to get my facts as straight as possible.

Thanks so much
Joyce

Hi Marguette,

I don't recall writing to your brother (it was 3 years ago!!) but i will pm you my e-mail as I do have info on the Edlin line you mention, then we don't hijack this thread!

Sorry Phill, haven't done Peel yet as my youngest picked a fight with a car and so have been rather occupied but he is fine now so may get there this weekend.
