Hi Phil,

I have already done almost all of the war graves in Failsworth Cemetery last year while I was doing some for the Manchester Regiment, Dad I I were enjoying hunting out the war graves so we carried on & did the other regiments too.

I will gladly do any at Chadderton & Royton Cemeteries for you when the weather improves, if you would like to send me the details Dad & I will get them as soon as we can.
(If St Gabriels is the one by the Station at Middleton Junction I may be able to do that one too, my sister lives by there)

I may already have some done at Phillips Park too, I did quite a few last year but not in any ordered form, I just saw some by a family plot & started photographing whichever I saw as i walked around.

Let me know which names you need at Failsworth & Phillips park & I will see if I have them for you.

I have been to St Gabriels, and I have seen Herbert Evans's stone but I couldnt get to it cos the ground was totaly sodden and not fit to walk on, hopefully it will be drier next week & I will do St Gabriels & Chadderton at the same time. (I use a crutch to walk so any slippery ground is not safe for me to be on)

Its no problem Phil, Dad has actually got quite into doing war graves Photos, he was a war baby born just as the war began in 1938  & I think in its way its kind of his idea of some kind of 'payback' to the men who lost their lives.

It was a nice day today & we were both just in the mood to go get some air & DO something after being stuck in by the weather for the last few days, walking around taking photos is my gentle exercise while I am recouperating. Its just such a shame that the weather has been so wet & the grave not as easy to get to as they usualy are.
