any info on the jones family from ladywood any years will do birth death or marriage records know my mother lived at clark street lady wood in 1960s

Hi Angie, l guess that apart from a search of BMD for any information the only other thing would be to search Poll Books on the 6 th Floor of Birmingham Central Library. This only gives the address and a list of people eligible to vote in the household.  BMD indexes are also on the 6 th floor but there is a charge for searchs .  Poll books are on the open shelf.

thanks for the advice but as i dont live in birmingham anymore
this would be difficult for me just wondered if there was any other way i could get to know who live in clark street in the early 1960s as i was adopted it is difficult to research as i only have my birth mothers maiden name which was janet jones and her father was called tom or thomas jones

Hi Angie, Like you l dont live in Birmingham any more and try to do some research whenever l can get there,but cannot say when it will be.  Were you asking for a list of all the residents or for particular names in Clark Street ?

Hi Angie,l forgot to mention Adoption records, an inquiry at your local Record Office would tell you what information is on Adoption Records so you could see then decide if it is worth purchasing a copy of them.
