I am trying to find out more about the family of a Robert MacDonald, who may have been married to an Elizabeth Ritchie around 1907ish. There was a son .. Edward MacDonald, who we think was adopted by Robert. The place of birth for the child is registered as Calfmoss Near Stoneyhill, Cruden. Unsure whether this was the residence of Robert MacDonald or just where the baby was born. Any information would be fantastic thanks

Welcome to Rootschat.  No record of a marriage on the official govt website of a marriage to the couple (either Mac or Mc and Richie or Ritchie surnames) between 1890 and 1930   in all of Scotland   :O(

Do you have any information on the death of 'your' Robert McDonald.  Please note the lack of an 'a' in McDonald.   :O)
