Or for convenience for people travelling perhaps somewhere along the A3 might be easier.

I for one Milly am reliant on public transport, so I hope we can agree on a mojor centre, Southampton, Portsmouth etc.

Yes, Portsmouth is also an option.

There is the Spinnaker Tower, if you don't have fear of heights like myself :o. http://www.spinnakertower.co.uk/

Maybe March would be a better date as there is a Birmingham meet towards the end of Feb.

Perhaps public transport may be easy there?

Thanks Lizzie, I believe that Winchester has better transport links than Salisbury, certainly for those travelling by rail between Weymouth and London etc.

Hi Roger

It wasn't me that suggested Winchester or Salisbury, it was Milly, but as I'm in Hampshire, Winchester is good for me.  ;D

I don't mind where really, if you have to use public transport, then you and others in the same boat should decide where to go.  If it's Winchester I'd probably use the train because parking's a bit of a nightmare, although in March the Park & Ride off the M3 is OK.  Come to think I'd probably get the train to Southampton too.
