Thought as may as well find something on other sibling Thomas Yates.

I havent found him in 1871 but you have him 1851/1861.
By 1881 he has married and is in Hunts also

Oh Crikey it was rumoured he had 21 children but I suspect some of them must have been counted twice!

I think I'm going to need a big book for mum's pressie, he just wont believe her eyes.

The 1911 census would tell you the number of children they had. (Nodoby's allowed to do look-ups, sorry!) www.1911census.co.uk

Who are you descended from? I see Harry Beaumont marries an Elizabeth Scarratt in 1903. Children Gladys May born 18 May 1904, George born 19 April 1908 and William Ronald 21 Feb 1917 according to his army records.
