Sorry I don't have any pics. There's a site called 'Dublin down memory lane' which can be accessed through Facebook, you could ask the nice people on there, they have lots of great photos. Other sites are Flikr, dublinboards.ie, dublinforum.
What was the name in Bow Lane west, it might jog my memory.

Great thanks for the information I will check out those sites , my relations were Joseph Michael & Mary Sheppard. I know they were there in the 1940's but I don't know how long they were there.

The name doesn't ring a bell but my Family were there earlier.
Check nationalarchives.ie to see where they were in the 1911 census.
Dublinheritage only shows 1939 electoral roles.
For births Marriages+deaths, check the LDS, irishgenealogy and ifhf sites.
You could also contact the resource centre in James's street, it's right beside the RC Church.
