Again 1870... there's a Jacob Gorrick at East Maitland - Swan Reach...

and there's Andrew Tierney at No. 1 Lane, Morpeth....

(I don't have a keyword searchable option, have to read each page, sorry these are all over the place...)

Hi my name's Kathleen and I think I can clarify the Tierney connection.  My Great Great Grandmother was Violet Emily Maude Tiernry Knee and she was born in 1879 in Maitland to Amelia Emily Gorrick Knee and Patrick Tierney.  I don't know if the were married but Amelia later went on to marry Thomas Jowitt to the best of my knowledge.

So Violet dropped the Knee to marry Edward Mellon obviously.
Did Patrick Tierney marry later ?. There are 3 possibilities for this.

Hi Kathy. Violet Tierney Knee is my great-grandmother. I have found my family, with the help of a special friend, and have traced the Mellons back to 1766, in England. Have lots of info and certificates to back it all up. Have a great day. I hope this makes you happy.
