Hilton H A H PATTERSON - QLD Death?

I have run out of ideas on finding what happed to Hilton Augustus Honeysett PATTERSON born to Walter and Sarah Patterson at Darlington NSW in 1889.  Sarah Patterson (nee COLBRAN) died in 1905 and in 1910 or so Hilton and his father Walter went to QLD, probably the Darling Downs initially judging by electoral rolls.  Walter died in Maryborough in 1941.
Hilton married Alice ALLAN in 1915 but she died during childbirth on 6th Feb 1916.  Their child Walter worked in North Qld all his life and was buried in Belgian Gardens Cem on 11th May 1971.
Hilton (Reg No 4123) returned from WW1 and lived at Maidavale near Ayr until 1940 when his second wife Ivy Helena PATTERSON (nee BOWDEN) died.
I have been unable to find evidence of Hilton after his wife's death.  He did not die in QLD before 1963.  Any ideas/suggestions?

The 'QLD State Library' has an 'Ask Us' librarian service (on-line) - they MAY be able to trace Hilton from electoral rolls -up until the time he 'vanishes'  -then  they MAY check newspaper death notices for him (also for Walter -to see if/how he is mentioned).  ...Valerie (WAus).

These may not belong to your family but worth a look I thought, as the name Hilton is not that common.

I went to SLV to-day to double check info I have.  HAH Patterson was a Farmer in Maidavale until 1943 so I am pleased to learn he had moved to Ryan/Ithaca after that.

I have not found a link to my Pattersons and the other Hiltons mentioned.  HAHP's grandafather David Patterson came from Drumnahoney, Newton Hamilton Co Armagh but his ancestors originally came from Ayrshire.  The Hilton Angus Patterson who died in 1910 [14 montha old] was HAHP's nephew.  I am indebted to other family members for much of my information.

hi neil cant help u with your inquiry but Im looking for family I think patterson is my grandmothers mothers or fathers name , her name was Clara Emma Catherine Martin went on to marry Percy Mackness Turville 1907 she was born 1884 it says sydney I cant find anything on her siblings or parants is this some one who might be conected to you

I "bit the bullet" and ordered a DC based on Cando's info.  Hilton Augustus Patterson died in Oct 1973 at RGH Greenslopes QLD.  He also appears to have married for third time.

My family doesn't have a Hilton Augustus Patterson not to my knowledge my Uncle Hilton was from Sydney married and moved to Foster on the mid north coast of N.S.W His full  name was Hilton Frank Hoptoun Turville late of Foster nsw Australia B.19/02/1911 d.13/08/1990. what documents did you bye Hilton only married once to Edith there was no other marriages.your Hilton seems to have all the wrong data this isn't a TURVILLE family member.Pleased that you have given a hand to help I'm sorry you was lead to believe in the wrong information.I found my grandmothers mother and father their names are Thomas and Sarah Martin. I thank you for your enquiry.

Hello Wendy,

I think Hilton is the name of placess in both Scotland and Ireland (and Adelaide) so there are a few Hilton's around in different families.  Also sent you a PM.
