Hi,

I have Grissell (Grace) Duff daughter of James Duff and Janet Kennedy, born 1802 in Auchtergaven, who married Robert Hutton in 1826. Any connection?

Duffs of Dunkeld
i have Duffs in my family tree coming from Little Dunkeld
this following is part of a church article about Donald Duff and Mary Mcleish
November 8th 1789
Session being met & duely constitute compeared Donald Duff & being exhorted to be inquest ate still denies guilt. Compeared also Mary McLiesh & persisted in accusing the said Donald Duff. The said Donald Duff desired to remove this scandal & craved the oath of purgation. The session resolved to enquire how far it might be for edification & summoned both parties to attend the session this day fortnight.
this is only part of a article that goes on for months in the church records if you would like a copy private message me and i can send it via email

I have a James Duff who died 25/2/1858 and was the son of John Duff and Margaret Garvie.

I do have some other Duffs on the other side but they are Logierait rather than Auchtergaven.
