Dedham baptism - RAISON

Hello,

I am hoping somebody could lookup a baptism for me in Dedham. An ancestor of mine, Samuel Raison (sometimes spelt or mistransribed as Rayson, Reason, Renson, Rason) was born in Dedham abt. 1813. I would like to know if there is a record of his baptism, who his parents were (occupations if on record) and if there were any other Raison's baptised in the village around this time.

I hope that's not too much to ask.

The Essex Record Office are digitising some parish registers, and luckily, Dedham St. Mary the Virgin has been done, for the dates you are looking for.

I've had a quick look, but I'm afraid the pages are not easy to read....

now Samuel could be the one born and baptised in Little Bromley (under Raison) 15 Feb 1812 to my 4th great grand parents William Reason and Mary Polly. William was baptised in Dedham. he and Mary died in Little Bromley

 or he could be the one

Samuel Surry Reason baptised 17 Jul 1814 in Dedham to William reason and Hannah
