Hi Ian & welcome, you left out a bit of information that might help any one looking for your graves. Without this extra info, they don't stand a chance of finding the graves.
Your Tonge gave 1232.
Should be:
C-of-E section
Grave NO Y 1232
In that grave Thomas William Tonge & Edward Samuel Tonge.

C-of-E Section
Grave NO K 319
In that grave Samuel Stephens, Jane Stephens, John Edwards & Ada Edwards

I have found a burial record at Southern Cemetery of a man who may be my grandfather, the burial number is 93792, name David Lynch, Date of burial 12/01/1924, burial Ground C of E Section S grave 182, he would have been about 30-40 years of age, I have searched on all the free sites for a record of his death without success, so a bit of a mystery.  Any help would be appreciated, if anyone is every down there and can check this man's age I would be grateful.

He was buried 1 Dec 1924 (not 12 Jan 1924), maybe the difference between British and American way of writing dates caught you out.  There is a death registration for David Lynch, reg District Chorlton, Dec Quarter, 1924 - Chorlton 8c 957.  He was aged 66.

Chorlton was /is a area of Manchester.

Mosiefish posted similar, but I have left this as there is a tiny bit more info!
Perrins - Manchester and Staffs
Honan - Manchester and Ireland
Hogg - Manchester 19 cent
Anderson - Newcastle mid 19 cent
Boullen - London then Carlisle then Manchester
Comer - Manchester and Galway

Hi & welcome to rootschat.
You do know all these other Lynch family members are buried in that same grave?
David died age 66
A Cooper by trade.
Last known address: 12 Stafford street Hulme.
From these details you should know if he is yours or not?
Don't for get by this time people who were C-of-E also got cremated and there records are a little harder to come across.
