Yes, with the baby born in Birkenhead, your result is better than what I could find, and seems to be correct. Wm birthdate is about right.

I tried all options last night for passenger/emigration 1881 to 1885 for James Mealor and Mrs. M or Mary Mealor to USA / Canada but found nothing.

Another of Mary Miller Rees' brothers George Manning Rees Junior came to Aus, so may keep that option of the Mealors coming here; finding no gold, so gone to USA - as another option. A number of Mealors from Neston did settle in Albury/Wodonga Aus so that also may have been a link.

Interesting that the plaintiff is named; so is the defendant's wife, but not the defendant who was also guilty of fraud in that little disagreement of rent.
