I am trying to find the families of two, until now unknown, cousins.

Isabella Richmond McGuire b1910 d. 1985 in Whitburn.  She married someone named Bryning.

Letitia Orr McGuire b. 1919 in Fauldhouse d. 1994 in Whitburn.  Letitia married Douglas Ronald Stark.

Any help would be great

Have you managed to locate the gravestones or find the obituaries in the local papers.
The next step I recon would be to look up the local phone directories.
The West Lothian family history soc. have a list of burials in the area with names

There are only 21 births for the surname Bryning in Scotland between 1930 and 2006.  Have you checked these on ScotlandsPeople?
