Just a bit more info on the Marston family in Yardley. If you go into the Birmingham Archives on line and put in Yardley and the name Marston the name is mentioned as far back as 1641. I think you would have to go to the library to view the documents as they are deeds and suchlike.you would have to check on that.as I am still new to the archives myself.Hope this is of help.

Have found reference to a Thomas Marston( Weaver) 1658. Probate will of Thomas Marston 1717 Yardley. Ref No.MS289/15 at the central library in Birmingham.

what I do is type in Access to Archives on google. The next page that comes up put Yardley in search. Then the page after that you can put in the names of people you are looking for .
