Skelton Alexander's family

I'm trying to find what happened to Skelton's first wife,MARY.
Skelton came from Dromore Tyrone Ireland born 1861 to Sarah & Thomas.
I have found on immigration records in 1896 Skelton 35yr,Thomas 5yr & Ella 3yr going to Ireland,but no MARY.
Have found thomas birth record 24 May 1891 in Manhattan NY to Skelton & MARY Alexander.
Cannot find Ella's birth record,nor what happened to Mary.

Skelton remarried on 22 May 1900 in manhattan to Pauline Ochs & had a daughter Katherine in 1904.

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Kim, I have been researching my Skelton line for some years, and was asked by another Skelton Researcher in Australia, if I could help him find Ellenor Skelton, who Emigrated to New South Wales in 1832, we think that William Skelton was her brother.
He married Isabella Osborne, daughter of John Osborne of Mossfield House Dromore, Co- Tyrone, and had five Children to her, and one to his first wife, he was Customs Clerk in London but returned to Ireland to Dromore were most of his children were born.
Do you know what the Skelton connection was?

Mary Skelton c1783 married thomas alexander c1784 7 had 3 children Maryc1800, James, & Thomas 1820.
I have a note that says Mary Skelton had a brother William who marriedIsabella Osborne.

I have a Mary SKELTON who married a Thomas ALEXANDER in my tree.
Wm SKELTON who married Isabella OSBORNE was her nephew not brother.

William SKELTON married Anastasia MARSHALL [1781 Armagh] - sixteen children

1.  William SKELTON 1787-1844 married a Miss Jane LIVINGSTON [my line]
2.  Mary married Thomas ALEXANDER of Dromore near Omagh

William SKELTON had issue by his wife Jane LIVINGSTON. 
Some of the names are....
1. William SKELTON 1810-1888  Married 1 1841 Jane McDONALD  2.1859 Isabelle OSBORNE
2. Ellen SKELTON 1812-1852 married Arthur MAYNE of Enniskillen
3. Anastasia SKELTON c1815 married Robert WILSON, Methodist Preacher.
4. Margaret SKELTON 1821-1839
5. Jane SKELTON c1823
5. Eliza SKELTON 1825-1907 married William Henry DUNNE.

In case the original poster comes back, on www.fultonhistory.com, there is the following from the NY Herald dated 28 Dec. 1895:

"Alexander - On Thursday, December 26, 1895, half-past ten, at her residence, 56 East 101st, New York city, Mary J. Alexander, beloved wife of Skelton Alexander, aged 28."
