Alexander Morrison, American Loyalist

I want to know more about the family of Alexander MORRISON, tacksman of Skinidin, (Isle of Skye)who emigrated to America about 1772-3. He was Capt. In the Loyalists at Battle of Moore's Creek, and returned to Scotland where he died about 1805. At least one son Norman, another might have been his ensign, Daniel. He lived in Moore's Co. NC in the US. I would especially like to see if it were possible to get a Morrison male descendant DNA from his line.

I am a descendant of Alexander Morrison on my father's side.  I have some information on him and some of his descendants.  However, as far as I have been able to ascertain, Norman became a teacher and did not return to Scotland with his family.  I believe John stayed there as well.
I do not know whether Daniel was related or not.

Thanks, for answering my query. I would be interested in anything you can share about the older family, Is there any chance he had a son named Angus?  I found a good bit of information on Alexander's family in "The Brave Sons Of Skye." when on Skye last year . I suppose you have that. Do you know anything about any of Alexander's or John's children? Also, he had a daughter if I remember, who married Donald Shaw. They returned from America and I think Alexander lived with them later. Has there been a male descendant to get a DNA sample done? Glenn, Texas
