How to contact a contributor
« on: Monday 02 November 09 12:18 GMT (UK) »
I don't know how to contact a contributor. I googled and got this message:

Title: Re: MacAra/McAra
Post by: FortyTwa on Thursday 21 May 09 19:51 BST (UK)
Just joined Rootschat so hi to all my (apparent!) new relations.

My Great Grandfather John Barnett (dob 20/3/1827, Kilspindie, Perthshire) married Christian McAra (born about 1832) at Monzie Parish Church, Perthshire on 27/4/1859.

She was the daughter of John McAra (b 2/9/1798, Monzie; d 23/3/1874, Crieff) and Margaret Cameron (b about 1800, Fowlis Wester, Perthshire; d 5/2/1891) who married in Crieff 11/12/1825

John was son of Finlay McAra (b 23/8/1769) and Christian McOmish (b 2/6/1775) who were married 29/8/1795

Monzie Parish Churchyard is quite literally FULL of McAra headstones which I have pix of if anyone interested

HTH

We have the same ancestors how do I send this message to them please. I have tried searching Rootschat using th subject and  FortyTwa but no results

Here's the thread you are looking for- searched with title only (see 'search' tab at top of page)- you can post a message there (person you are trying to contact only has 1 post so won't be able to use PM system yet):

You could always send a PM.

Hi Macara

This is the profile of FortyTwa

 http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=84291

and her message:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,282643.msg2554062.html#msg2554062

I see that she has only posted once so,  although you could PM her (click on the green scroll under the message that was posted,  she can't PM you back. You could put an e-mail address in your PM for her to contact you if she reads it .

Good luck
