So sad to hear about Christopher dying alone he was a very helpful person and may he rest in peace

How sad Christopher is gone, as has been said he always went out of his way to help everyone and will be sadly missed on roots, I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago at the Dublin meet and he was quite a character, it only remains to say "Christopher if theres a net connection in heaven will ya answer all of my family history mysteries for me and a few others if you get time between all the partying and testing out the new wings ! This as come as a major shock to myself.  Chris and I were distantly related through our DeBANK lines and we spent hours discussing our tree.  I only last week passed his addy onto another twig in our tree.  I will miss his sense of humour and knowledge of our N. Ireland branch.

I am going to miss Christopher so much.
He was one of the first Rootschatters to guide me on my way ,with kind words of encouragement ,never made a fool of my complete lack of knowledge, in Ireland particularly.
A great loss to all of us .
