How sad Christopher is gone, as has been said he always went out of his way to help everyone and will be sadly missed on roots, I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago at the Dublin meet and he was quite a character, it only remains to say "Christopher if theres a net connection in heaven will ya answer all of my family history mysteries for me and a few others if you get time between all the partying and testing out the new wings ! Rest In Peace Christopher, Bernadette  :'(

This as come as a major shock to myself.  Chris and I were distantly related through our DeBANK lines and we spent hours discussing our tree.  I only last week passed his addy onto another twig in our tree.  I will miss his sense of humour and knowledge of our N. Ireland branch.

Rest in Peace cuz

I am going to miss Christopher so much.
He was one of the first Rootschatters to guide me on my way ,with kind words of encouragement ,never made a fool of my complete lack of knowledge, in Ireland particularly.
A great loss to all of us .
God Bless you Christopher ,a true gent and a heart of gold.
