For anyone who may have been waiting confirmation of Christopher's funeral, as indicated by Pentio in an earlier post, I have just been online and see that the notice is now in the Belfast Telegraph:

His friends on Belfast Forum have also posted a notice in the Telegraph:

Thanks, scotmum!

Every time I think of him I feel so sad that he died alone like that, and so sorry for his sister.  I hope there is a great mob of people at his funeral, and I hope too that someone who can go will post a report here.

I am reasonably new to RootsChat, but could not help but see a lot of green hats on the posts.

I am so very sorry, particularly that he died alone.

R I P Christopher, and 'Thankyou'.

As 11.30 approaches....thoughts are with those attending Christopher's funeral today.....may they each take strength and comfort from their own memories and use these to help them through the day.

I'm thinking of you, your sister and all your many friends this morning, Christopher.  May all your Gods go with you.

You are sadly missed.

Christopher was very kind and helpful to me when I first joined RC, & I always enjoyed reading his posts. He was a true gentleman, always couteous and considerate, & I will miss his contribution on here.
