Can any one help ??

I have got a bit of paperwork that my grandad put together of my great grandad , and i have been trying to find his name on a few military sites but im having a lot of trouble. so can any one please help , here is what s written on the paperwork i cant ask my grandad as he has just recently passed away .

Albert richard Harcourt .

Enlisted in the dorsetshire regt : 10.4.1915.

Army certificate of education 2nd class  29.3.1920

Ditto 1st class 5.4.1921

There is also written on the back some medals which are

George V regular army long service and good conduct 1933

this next part i dont understand . HO 175 of 1933 £5.00 paid 31.8.1937  W.O. CL.2  What does it mean ?

Kings silver jubilee ( george V & queen mary 1910/35
1939/45 Star.         LFT.
France & germany star. Major
1939/45 defence medal  . Major.
1939/45 war medal & oak leaf ( mention in despatches ).
George VI for meritorious service .

So please can any one help or point me in the right direction . i would be so grateful .

His service record will still be with the MOD, It will cost you £30, may take up to 6 months to get it, here is the address

I wonder if this is him in the WW1 Medal Rolls ?

There very little info on the card - he was shown as a Cpl in the Dorsetshire.

Otherwise just a Roll & Page number for the British & Victory Medals

There is a candidate for WW2 but like the WW1 MIC it gives his name as Albert rather than Alfred.
