To start with, the 1911 address is Omagh Road, Dromore (#1 on the census form- there is no street number).
Here's the link to the entry-

There's an Ella Alexander, born c1893 arriving in Londonderry, Ireland in 1896- also in same year are Thomas Alexander and Mr. S. Alexander but I can't tell if they were even on the same boat. You mentioned half-brother Thomas Alexander- have you been able to trace him in U.S.?

Added note: see later posts for 1903 passenger list

Could this be the family?

Mrs. S. Alexander 75? [hard to decipher, could be 45?]
Master Tom Alexander 11y 6mo schoolboy
Miss Ella Alexander 9y 6mo schoolgirl

Looks like Ella returning to U.S. after 1911 census-

Hi,
   To add to Aghadowey's list.

Children of Thomas Alexander and Sarah Jane Houston who were married on 26 Jul 1853 in Ballynahatty Presbyterian Church, Dromore District, Omagh, Co Tyrone:-
Anne 6 Jun 1864 Dromore, Sarah Jane 25 Jun 1866 Dromore, Skelton 28 Jun 1868 Dromore, Henry 17 Apr. 1870 Dromore, Rebecca 9 Jun 1873 Co. Tyrone and Francis16 Feb 1876 Co. Tyrone.

As civil registration of births did not start until 1864 I would assume that there were earlier births.

Stewart, Irwin, Morrison, Haslett, Murrell - Dungiven area Co. Londonderry
Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh
Neil, Smyth _Co. Antrim

Hi,
A little more from the Wills search at PRONI.
Thomas Alexander, merchant, of Dromore died 10 Jan 1889 and probate was granted to his widow, Sarah Jane Alexander. He was a comparatively wealthy man leaving over £3248.

John Houston Alexander, Clerk of Petty Sessions, of Beech Park, Dromore died 17 Jun 1914 and probate was granted to his widow Margaret. They appear to have been married in Dromore Church of Ireland on 10 Jan 1895 and her maiden name was Woods.

Thank you all for your information.

I have been unable to find,Ella's death,I assume it was in Tyrone,as there is no mention of her mother Mary i Alexander.nee Lydon after giving birth to a son Fredrick in 1894.I have not been able to find him either.,nor what happened to Mary, did she die or just separate?.
I have the 1905 census that has Ella & her brother living in Brooklyn with their father Skelton & step mother Pauline & their daughter Catherine.
Any help,or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Kim

Only possibility in N.Y. records I can find for Frederick death-
Frederick ALEXANDER (age 1) 30 Oct.1894 Manhattan
Not sure if it is him- they were in Brooklyn by Feb.1894 when he was born.

If Mary Alexander (Skelton's 1st wife) died in N.Y. I found 2 possibilities- again, not sure either is her-
Mary ALEXANDER (27) 21 Sept.1894 Manhattan
Mary J. ALEXANDER (28) 26 Dec.1895 Manhattan
