Hello again Magic

Have you looked at the 1881 UK census ... for Isaac ?

He's living in Norfolk with wife Elizabeth and baby Isaac (9 months)  ... and surprise ... there is also a daughter recorded as "Harriet F. -  aged 4 years".    ;)

Without being able to view the passenger list of the "Famnoth - 1883", it's diffcult to know the children who accompanied Isaac and Elizabeth Ann.
I think I have found Harriet in New Zealand - a death recorded in 1890 - aged 13 years.    I suspect too, that there was also another daughter born to this couple before they left England ?

Still investigating.  :)

:)

Seems to be a connection between these two WYMER families (Rosebank Road in school records / Rosebank, Avondale on the War records). ?

Possibly Enoch is the younger brother of Isaac WYMER ?
It's such an unusal name - not a great many listed on UK records ... and those in NZ appear to descend from Isaac and Enoch ?

I was wondering about the connection as well, especially living in the same area.

Never come across the name Enoch before.

He died 6 November 1949 buried at Hillsborough.

"Enoch"  (Heb.) - dedicated, skilled.   (Not many Enoch's about  ... I can only think of Enoch POWELL, the rather controversial UK politician).   :D

Hmmm ... now just need to find burial for  "Harriet WYMER - 13 yrs. d. 1890.

The only thing I could find on a Harriet was:

Harriet Sarah Wymer attended Tauhoa Rodney School on the 17 September 1883.  No leaving date.    Birth date was recorded as 13 January 1878.   Parent was listed as Mr Wymer.

So a possibility could be that she could be buried North of Auckland.

Thanks KHP   ...  "Harriet Sarah" is EXACTLY who I was looking for.    :)

(Just having the second name "Sarah", confirms some other info I'd found).  Beaut !

Hmm ... I wonder if Harriet Sarah was buried with either or both of her baby sisters (unmarked plot - not recorded on cemetery records) ?

(Her death - 1890 - has her recorded only as "Harriet WYMER - 13 years).

Sisters > >

Vergie Adaleine WYMER - died 1889 (9 months)

Chrystabel WYMER - died 1894 - 4 weeks
