I was in two minds for that record for Harriet, but the date of birth seemed to fit with the death year.

Only one person buried at Rodney at that is for Robert Benjamin Wymer.  There was no death year for him.

No record for Vergie or Chrystabel either

Earlier in the thread, I posted a reference for the marriage of Isaac WYMER and Elizabeth Ann ... either FRANKSMAN or FRANSHAM - DEC 1879.

I now think the surname was more likely to be FRANSHAM.

There 's a birth registered Blofield, JUNE - 1857 - FRANSHAM - Ann Elizabeth ?
(On the NZ birth registration for one of her children, Elizabeth's name is also shown as "Ann Elizabeth").

However, this FRANSHAM surname, now takes me back to the child "Harrriet F. - aged 4" in the 1881 census.

Hi Magic  ... as you can see, Isaac and Elizabeth Ann, did not marry until 1879 ... and yet, in the 1881 census, they have a daughter Harriet F. aged 4 (bc 1877).

I couldn't see a UK birth for a Harriet F. (or Harriet) WYMER.

There is however the following > >

FRANSHAM - Harriet Sarah - reg'd. Blofield  ?

[So birth registered in her mother's maiden name ?]


I think the letter "F" next to her christian name on the census record, may well represent "F for FRANSHAM" 

And it is helpful that KHP has found this NZ school record listing for Harriet Sarah WYMER b. 1878.   (1878 is obviously a year out  ... but there are lots of wee errors on these school entries especially in relation to birthdates.)

James francis (Parent Isaac) attended Avondale School 3 Feb 1903 and left 21 June 1904 for Yarmouth.  At the time living at Rosebank Rd, his birth date is recorded as 16 December 1896.

There appears to be a Divorce File at Archives

Alice May Wymer was my Great Grandmother.  I have information pertaining to the Wymers dating back to Jacob b 1743,  and some but unfortunately not as much on the Fransham family.
If you require any information let me know. 
If there is any delay it is because I am now living in the UK. (We are currently 13 hours behind).
