A Pat Purcell aged 30 also arrived in Victoria on board the Agincourt in February of 1854. 10/205

A Pierse Purcell aged 21 had arrived in Victoria  on board the George Fyffe in July 1841  1/39

Whether they're anything to do with your Patrick and Pierce I don't know.

I have some wonderful news ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have found Patrick PURCELL in NZ :D

He married a Mary SHANNAHAN in 1867 and they had about 8 or 9 children.

I have just been talking to a cousin in QLD via skype for about an hour so am very happy. I now have more cousins etc to search for

This has been a wonderful journey

I have just found this article on Papers past
Link below
http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&cl=search&d=EP18830413.2.31&srpos=11&e=-------10--11----0Patrick+PURCELL-all

Let me know what you think. If you can't read it let me know as well and I will tell you what paper it was in.

So it does look like Patrick PURCELL and Cecilia WOOD were never married.

I had to LOL at it

Is there a way to check and see if there is a marriage in Vic for Patrick PURCELL and this other lady  Agnes in 1862  Richmond.

As I say I have his NZ marriage certificate and it says he is a bachelor on it

Regards
