1841/1851 - George Chaloner and family in Holt
« on: Wednesday 14 October 09 12:58 BST (UK) »
I'd be very grateful if SKS could look up the following family in Holt, Denbighshire:

George Chaloner, b. c1788 Holt and his wife Anne

The IGI reports children:

Mary Chaloner, bap. 28 Sep 1817
Ann Chaloner, bap. 31 Dec 1820
Christian Chaloner, bap. 22 Jul 1821
Robert Chaloner, bap. 7 May 1825
Thomas Chaloner, bap. 27 May 1827
George Chaloner, bap. 15 Mar 1829
William Chaloner, bap. 1 Nov 1829
Sarah Chaloner, bap. 15 Jun 1831
Timothy Chaloner, bap. 10 Nov 1833

I am particularly interested in the youngest son, Timothy.

Many thanks, Justin

Thanks very much, Ricky and Wendy.

That's one theory proved.

Were there many other Chaloners around in Holt in 1851?

Hi Justin

The Timothy to whom you refer was my great, great grandfather.

I have some information about the family if you are interested.

Hello Rick,

I would be most interested in any information you have.

I am researching this family on behalf of a friend who is also a great-grandson of Timothy through the latter's son Edwin, b. 1865.

Justin

Ah...
that would be my brother Chris then.  If you are the chap who has been helping him then please accept my thanks for your efforts.

Unfortunately though this probably means that you have more information than I do.

Rick
