I am a descendant of the Rountrees of Cavan. Have you seent he family tree  of the Rountrees of Cavan/meath compiled by the rev Walter Rountree in 1890.Its hows marriage of  a Rountree to a Fannin.

Yes, thanks Bernard John - Walter's tree seems to have been really widely distributed.   It's a great boon for sorting out that side of the family, despite the absence of dates.
