Sorry - lack of red warnings means that I don't see what you've posted until I've posted.

I think I've also found Isabella in the 1861 in Blackford as a servant aged 14, b. Auchterarder. No sign of her parents so far apart from on the 1851 in Glasgow.

I have ran out of credits, so cannot look at the cesus for 1841, did find on IGI a marriage of a

Donald McGregor to a Janet lists her surname as McGregor but the wedding took place in Fowlis Wester in 1781

1841

Interesting but maybe Donald was away from home. it wasn't unusual for women to use their maiden name:

Auchterarder

Deuchars
John, 60, Cotton HLW
Isabella, 25
Janet, 22
Isabella Miller, 55
Jane Lawson, 10
Margaret McGregor, 2 months

all b. Perthshire. Sadly no relationships given on the 1841 but most likely John was Janet's father

Did it tell you what area of Glasgow Donal and his family were in in 1851?

1861

Looks like Donald was dead:

Auchterarder

McGregor
Janet, head, 43, Cotton weaver, b. Auchterarder
John, 17, cotton weaver, b. Auchterarder
Donald, 11, b. Glasgow

Hope that there was a death 1855-1861  :-\

Donald was dead by the time Isabella got married for the second time to David,

Donald would have died fairly young then he was listed as 35 in 1851, so he must have died between the ages of 35-45, I wonder if his death could have been work related? so there might be a report in the local paper of his death, think worth looking up, and he could be burried in Glasgow
